  2. What does the Word of God cleanse? (John 15:3; Titus 3:4, 5)
  3. What is the process by which a person is "begotten" by or through the Gospel? (1 Corinthians 4:15; 1 Peter 1:3; 1 John 5:18)
  4. In Acts 8, was Simon, the sorcerer regenerated? Did he really believe unto salvation before he was baptized or did he have Philip fooled? If not, why was he baptized. Did he get into the bondage of iniquity and have bitterness, falling again into a condition where his heart was not right or was he not yet converted? What do you think?
  5. At what point or time was Cornelius born again? (Acts 10)
  6. What is the meaning of "born, not of blood" in John 1:13?
  7. What is the meaning of John 3:6? Answer: Humans can produce only human life. Only God can produce divine life.
  8. Is "eternal life" (John 3:16) the same as spiritual life given at regeneration?
  9. Why is eternal life called "the gift of God"? (Romans 6:23)
  10. Why can it be said that the person who has not been regenerated does not have life? (1 John 5:11-13)
  11. Is it possible to forfeit eternal life?
  12. If one can lose eternal life, is it then eternal?
  13. Is eternal life given to us as a possession forever, even if we later allow sin to separate us from God? (Isaiah 59:1, 2)
  14. Is eternal life shared with us only as we remain in Christ? (John 15:16; John 14:6; 1 John 5:11, 12)

The Regenerated Person Is Said To Be "in Christ."

  1. "...if any man be in Christ..." (2 Corinthians 5:17).

  3. "...babes in Christ" (1 Corinthians 3:1).
  4. "As newborn babes..." (1 Peter 2:2).
  5. "...the dead in Christ..." (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
